Whether Biden or Trump wins, our country has for too long normalized white supremacy and fascism. The pandemic is becoming normalized, Black Lives being stolen or abused by law enforcement is becoming normalized, children in cages and mass deportations are becoming normalized.
Like @la_studentsdeserve, STEM to the Future has always believed that students are stronger together. When we are united, our voices are powerful; even if we can’t vote. Join students across the US for our virtual walkout on November 4th, the day after the general election.
Just finished our first training with the @CityYearLA “It Takes a Village” Pueblo. We learned a lot from the corps members as they prepared to teach students about viruses, design 3D models of PPE, and discuss should healthcare be a human right 🌱🦠🌱

We're proud to be partnering with @stemtothefuture and @GodfreyPlata for a free virtual STEAM “field trip” for students grades 4-8 on Civic Engagement on September 30. Students, parents, and teachers can learn more & sign up here: https://t.co/y2RhknBRWe
@TheAnimaker to make matters worse you have 1 Black women for free and it’s pretty wild that I can change her tone to white and it looks natural but I can’t change white peoples tone to Black and it look natural. What a shame!
@TheAnimaker y’all need to do better. I know you can change the characters but the message you’re sending is that default skin tone is white. How is that only 1 of the 12 free characters on your platform is obviously not white. Also, there is are ZERO people with dark skin.
We’re doing amazing work helping TK-5th grade students use STEAM to uplift the community. Don’t take our word for it. Listen to Ms. Roberts, an amazing kindergarten teacher at one of our partner schools, ICEF Innovation
Support us this #GivingTuesday. Your donations will support our programs by helping us buy materials like 3D printers, paint, solar panels, disposable cameras, and microphones.
We must make teaching content related renewable energy and sustainability engaging and relevant. We’re already handing over a 🌍 that’s on fire. Least we can do is equip the youth with the tools needed to restore order.
