STEP4WIND is a European Industrial Doctorate programme, granted under the @EU_H2020 @MSCActions ITN scheme (GA 860737). It focusses on floating offshore wind.
Today’s edition of @telegraaf features floating wind energy and our Floating Renewables Lab. I hope this can get the field even more widely known and inspire people. Great timing as the world's wind energy community is arriving @tudelft for #TORQUE22!

Congratulations to our ESR Deepali Singh who won best poster award at the @AETUDelft PhD Academic Event! Her work focuses on probabilistic surrogate models for floating wind turbines load emulation.
Thrilled to share our #openaccess paper published in @Elsevier's RSER, which investigates the synergy between #floatingwind and #greenhydrogen production. Read here: https://t.co/lFBUORY9Bz (1/5)
Our coordinator @axellevire is working with the @OffshoreWind4Kids initiative to disseminate floating offshore wind to a large public. The #OffshoreWind4Kids wind turbines have arrived @AETUDelft and are ready for many #outreach activities in the coming months. Stay tuned!
Our project coordinator @axellevire is also the #DiversityandInclusion officer @AETUDelft . She is making great steps with her team and recently launched a unique parental fund at the faculty.

Our first 1-week school takes place next week in Como, Italy. We look forward to meeting the PhDs in person (online participation remains possible). More information here: https://t.co/QNy9j9pFVI Thansk @polimi for hosting!
Some of our staff and PhDs supported the #OffshoreWind4Kids initiative at Scheveningen beach last Sunday, helping adults and kids build small-scale offshore and floating wind turbines. The next generation is (almost) ready for #floatingwind! @AETUDelft@NWEAWind @MSCActions
Our coordinator @axellevire is working everyday towards a dream: developing floating offshore wind on a large scale and developing people. This article featuring our project shows this as well! @AETUDelft#floatingwind#oay

Our project coordinator @axellevire is also the diversity & inclusion officer @AETUDelft and actively works with the faculty to improve D&I with staff and students. Stay tuned for some updates on her work in that area!
Great work & thanks for having invited me. Glad to have highlighted e.g. the challenges for both PhDs and PIs of supervision during an extended legal leave (e.g. parental leave). Now actively working with my Faculty @AETUDelft to limit the impact of these challenges for everyone.
Our PhD candidates are presenting their work at #WESC2021. Check out the conference website and our website for more information! https://t.co/tC9seLhR76
