So excited to be working with kids in a classroom again! First week in and 5th graders are very into being fish and programming their movement. Looking forward to sharing more about hybrid embodied computational models! @step_prjct#embodied_learning#science_modeling
Gearing up for some more data collection!! Some sneak peeks of the new GEM-STEP and GEM-SCRIPT!!

Really pushed my ability to “rapidly iterate” 🤯 what started out as a 4-day unit on dinosaurs quickly turned into a hodgepodge of bees, dinos, astronauts, and magical creature-themed activities! What a rush! ✨
The next iteration of STEP, GEM-STEP is shaping up to have a pretty powerful scripting language!! @_moravick has been building games with bees, dinosaurs, and now astronauts for some very excited summer camp attendees!!
It was an absolute privilege to share the first iteration of my framework for inclusive embodied learning space design last night 🙆🏻♀️
While we have a ways to go, the overwhelmingly positive response to my work gives me faith that we are moving in the right direction! #ISLS2022 ✨
We have just created a brand new website, which we plan to keep up to date with some exciting new work around our own modeling environment (GEM-STEP), innovations in AI, and more!! https://t.co/LkaK3ol7i7
We are going to try and revitalize this account, focused on embodiment, play, and the STEP project in particular. What would you like to see us tweet about it?
