Manchester United's players have been warned they'll be banned for up to 18 games if they breath air during the remaining fixtures. It's a new rule introduced this week. It will apply to United, but not opponents.
'Ryan' is 25 years old. Roy Keane was at Manchester United from 1993 until 2005, while he & Gary Neville were in their prime (& even when they left) Ryan was either not born, wearing diapers or wetting his bed.
Keane won 7 PL titles, 4 FA Cups & 1 CL in just 10 years. He was in the Team of the Century & Footballer of the Year, he & Neville were in the TOTY 5x, both players are Premier League & English Football Hall of Famers.
Trying to talk authoritatively on something you have no knowledge or lived experienced in is genuinely laughable, particularly when you support a 'club' that didn't even exist to you pre-2008.
Kids & their keyboards, bloody hell. Shut up.
I try to exercise patience and look for the positives, but outside of physical conditioning and injury management, I can’t think of one clear advantage of Amorim’s coaching/management philosophy.
Everything feels backwards. Not sure a single player in the squad is being optimised or platformed in their role better than they could with a different shape or tactical approach.
The biggest stain beyond anything tactical for me is his neglect of the academy. You just can’t be a Manchester United manager and treat the youth with such ambivalence.
Bringing on a defensive minded player who consistently lets the side down over academy products who he claims are ready to contribute is plain cowardly, and wholly representative of wider failings during his United tenure.
Can’t remember feeling this alienated and disconnected from the game because of a manager.
Nothing about this manager is the "United way", not his ideas, not his tactics, not his subs, not his management, not his use of academy player. Nothing, and to top it all off he's a terrible manager who can't get results. No redeeming quality. It's enough, time to go
“We treat players like shit. There are better ways to offload players”
No, there isn’t.
Back when players were pampered, they would get drunk and skip training.
They would give interviews criticising the manager right after an European final.
They would go on social media to speak out against the manager.
They would ignore instructions on the pitch and refuse to track back.
If anything, it’s the players who have been treating this football club like shit.
That era is over. We now treat players the way a serious club should.
Every player must understand one simple truth: no individual is bigger than the club.
🚨I grew up in the era where Luis Nani was seen as “mid,” and now I’m expected to rate Sancho, Antony, and Garnacho?
Nani was a hard-working, useful player who still got hammered for “inconsistency” (and yeah, sometimes he was). Nobody cared about his confidence, whether he needed an overlapping full-back, or if he was better as an inside forward.
In 2010/11, he put up 28 G/A in 33 PL games as a midfielder and still got slated as the most inconsistent player in the squad.
Now, players with worse numbers get a laundry list of excuses. Standards have fallen, but it’s no shock — most United fans online have never even seen us win the league. #MUFC
What worries me is what happens if they don’t get Mbeumo? Then what? How bad would it look for INEOS if they can’t get one of their only current targets done? Last season Utd had deals lined up ready to trigger once well advanced sales got completed and everyone knew who those players were, what other deals do Utd have lined up now? We were told that summer recruitment wouldn’t really be affected whether we qualified for the Champions League or not, it’s hard to believe that. I don’t like reading things like “Utd are confident, Utd are relaxed” etc, i don’t care about your confidence and the absolute last thing anyone at the club should be feeling right now is “relaxed”.
United what a fall from grace, from the disaster of 58, the joy of 68 a sprinkle of brilliance in 99 with a touch of class in 2008, what a football club it was…
all destroyed by an American virus that has torn the club to peaces, Sir Jim & Ineos putting the final nail in the coffin.
Utd fans sit there and do nothing about it, why? this is why the glazers and Ineos still here…
the kits will still sell, old Trafford roaring, crowds supporting the boys, clapping them off after dreadful performances. Because this is the club we fell in love with.
the glazers & Ineos are nothing but poisonous to the football club and no true United fan would’ve give them 1.25BN to keep them in the club.
The club is in need of dire change and the only company’s that can help are the @premierleague@GOVUK as well as our fans being ONE!
drop your egos
drop your attitudes
drop your obsession for money!
come together for fuck sake…

You are a hypocrite, @Carra23. You tell football fans how to feel for a living.
You were telling Casemiro to retire. You've told Manchester United fans how to feel for years about their club, players, manager, new stadium, ownership.
You were telling Myles Lewis-Skelly how to celebrate a goal & Arsenal fans how to feel celebrating a win. You were telling West Ham, Aston Villa & Everton fans how to feel about losing Rice, Grealish & Gordon.
Now that it's Liverpool, nobody can give their opinion on the situation. Could you be more of a walking contradiction?
