Boy down with chicken pox. Woman down with flu. Said boy with chicken pox waking every 24 minutes since 23:08 to ask for cream said woman with flu is then rubbing on. 🤯
It’s our first time doing elf on the shelf, it starts in 2 sleeps…of course I put it in a safe place months ago and now can’t find the bloody thing 🤦♀️
Today I was the loser mum whose eyes welled up whilst watching my 4 year old swim. I feel SO proud. Watching him volunteer to jump into the water standing like it was nothing, his confidence, his lack of fear but most importantly, seeing him proud of himself 🥹
My 3.5 year old asked for a sleepover in my bed, he was so excited for it, genuinely giddy. I now have my 2 sons and my partner all asleep beside me and honestly, it’s the calmest most content I’ve felt all week. Turns out my 3.5 year old knows what I needed before I even did 💙
My google search at the moment…
‘Is feeling sick a sign of labour’ ‘Is being overly tired a sign of labour’ ‘Is coccyx pain (that you damaged 3.5 years ago IN labour) a sign of labour’ 😅🤦♀️🤰🏼
As I put Rory to bed tonight I told him I was proud of him, it’s been a full on day with strangers looking in his eyes and he has taken it all in his stride. He replied ‘I’m so proud of you to mum’. He has no idea what it means but honestly, I need to hear it so much 💙🥰
