Very proud to announce my new edited volume with @adamwlankford - it is the first book to explore why the United States has the greatest number and highest share of public mass shootings around the globe:

I've been seeing some posts from well-intentioned faculty about eliminating all deadlines in their classes. I study #ExecutiveFunction, #stress and #mentalhealth in college #students, and I'm here to tell you this will hurt the students you are trying to help. . . 1/buckle up

The view that healthcare and education privatization will solve our problems is only held by those who think they’ll profit and those who think they’ll be able afford it.
Most will be wrong.
I spoke with Premier @FordNation today. I emphasized the importance of standing up for Canadians’ rights and freedoms, including workers’ rights – and I reiterated that the preemptive use of the notwithstanding clause is wrong and inappropriate.
@Sflecce “Literally no choice?” You have the choice to bargain fairly. To not bribe parents. And to not bully these hard workers who are the backbone of the school. You have lots of choices.
You want to “get back to normal?” Me too. How about:
Normal life expectancy.
Normal ambulance and ER wait times.
Normal stock of children’s cold and flu medicine.
Normal staffing levels in critical services.

I'll say it again..
RT if you'd rather @Sflecce keep his $375 million parent bribe, invest that money directly into public education, and make a fair deal with @CUPEOntario that respects some of Ontario's lowest paid education workers. #39KIsNotEnough#Solidarity#OntEd#onpoli
A CBC News investigation found that at least 20 candidates for trustee positions in Ontario had either used discriminatory terms in interviews, aligned themselves with transphobic lobby groups or used social media accounts to amplify transphobic content. https://t.co/GNKn4pFwhE
