J’ai mené ma petite enquête indépendamment de cette horreur que Yaël Braun-Pivet veut construire, juste pour avoir les tarifs du marché.

Le résultat est sans appel : 53 millions d’euros pour 4 000 m².

Soit plus de 13 000 € le mètre carré.

Pendant ce temps, le marché de la construction tertiaire haut de gamme à Paris tourne autour de 2 200 à 2 800 €/m².

Même pour un bâtiment d’architecte ultra-premium avec toutes les options, on dépasse rarement les 4 000-4 500 €/m².

Là, on est à trois fois le prix du haut de gamme.

Pour un pavillon d’accueil.

Avec sous-sols, cafétéria et colonnes de verre « symboliques ».

On ne construit plus : on s’offre un luxe de monopole.

Le contribuable, lui, n’a pas le droit de demander le tarif marché. 13 000 €/m².

Pas un prix de construction.

Le genre de prix qu’on accepte sans broncher quand c’est l’Assemblée qui signe le chèque.

A rare photo from 1979 shows a young Steven Seagal with his first family in Japan. He is twenty-two years old in the picture, standing next to his wife, Miyako Fujitani, and their toddler son, Kentaro.

At that time, Seagal had just earned his first-degree black belt in Aikido. Moving to Japan was a major turning point for him, as he wanted to submerge himself completely in the history and discipline of the art.

It was during this period that he met Miyako Fujitani, a skilled martial artist who already held a second-degree black belt.

Miyako was the daughter of a highly respected master, and the two quickly connected over their shared dedication to training. Shortly after, they married and began building their life together in Japan.

"I wanted to learn true discipline and master the art directly from the source," Steven once said when reflecting on his early years abroad.

As time went on, Seagal accomplished something truly historic. He became the very first foreigner allowed to run an Aikido dojo in Japan.

This was an exceptionally rare achievement in such a deeply traditional martial arts community.

Managing the dojo earned him immense respect from both local practitioners and senior instructors. After building a solid reputation as a master craftsman in Aikido, he decided to return to the United States.

That return set the stage for his entry into Hollywood, where he would eventually turn into one of the biggest global action stars of the late 1980s and 1990s.

Life eventually pulled the couple in separate directions. In 1987, Steven Seagal and Miyako Fujitani officially divorced.

Later on, Seagal began a high-profile relationship with actress Kelly LeBrock, beginning a brand-new chapter in the public eye.

Despite the changes in their parents' lives, the children from Seagal's first marriage built successful creative careers of their own. Kentaro Seagal grew up to become a talented actor and accomplished martial artist.

"We grew up respecting the tradition, the focus, and the hard work of both our parents,"

Kentaro once shared during an interview.

Meanwhile, their daughter, Ayako Fujitani, chose her own creative path, establishing herself as a respected Japanese author and actress.

Today, Miyako Fujitani remains an inspiring figure in the martial arts world. She continues to teach Aikido in Japan and holds the elite rank of seventh-degree black belt.

Her dojo remains a place of warmth, honor, and mutual respect, where new generations gather to learn from her vast wisdom.

"Aikido is not about fighting an opponent; it is about finding balance within yourself and sharing that peace with others," Miyako often tells her students.

Looking back at that vintage 1979 snapshot, it represents far more than just the start of a famous career. It stands as a heartwarming reminder of quiet beginnings, deep commitment, and a shared passion that shaped a family's legacy for decades to come.

Everything within a mile was instantly vaporized, but the rectory remained standing. Inside, eight Jesuit priests (including Fr. Hubert Schiffer) survived.

They didn't just survive the blast; they suffered no radiation sickness and lived healthy lives for decades afterward. Scientists examined them 200 times and couldn't explain it.

Fr. Schiffer had a simple answer: "We lived the message of Fatima. We prayed the Rosary daily in that home."

Physics says they should be dead but the Queen of Heaven disagreed.

In 1914 Harry L. Bowdoin filed a patent for a "Submarine Armor", it was granted in 1915, and by 1918 he had completed his invention, a 1,400-pound metal diving suit. Designed to explore deep-sea caves and sunken ships, the all-metal atmospheric armor used gears and levers so the diver could move the oil-filled rotary arms and legs. Twin 1,000-watt lamps on the shoulders lit the darkness, and tests off the New Jersey coast had already lowered the empty suit to 400 feet and Bowdoin himself to 200 feet, where he walked the seabed for 45 minutes.

The suit and Bowdoin gained fame with an attempt to salvage the sunken treasure of Spanish gold and jewels from the Golden Hoard of Davy Jones, which was believed to be worth more than USD80 million. Supported by “men of wealth”, the expedition aimed to have Bowdoin descend to the seabed in his suit and retrieve the many treasures as well as study the mysterious realm below.

The outcome of the expedition isn’t known, and little further information has been printed on the suit’s design.👀
