@Cherie_Show I think all teachers go through that. I question my choice of becoming a teacher almost daily. Dealing with parents and adults is sometimes harder than dealing with children. Then I have a day like yesterday and it all seems worth it.

@LakotaMan1 Yes it should. I am fortunate enough to teach at an alternative high school with 100% Indigenous student population. Our curriculum centers around our local tribes here on the Rez. Most of our staff me included are indigenous.

@brclothwrites Growing up in rural Mt in a mostly ranching family I didn’t have a choice between a stick shift and automatic. All our farm equipment and trucks were stick shifts.

@HMeloWriter I stayed friends with my ex husband for 25 years until his death last year. I was friends with an ex boyfriend for 12 years until he passed am still friends with my ex fiancé. My husband is still friends with a couple of his exes

I really love my girl the baby of the family. I also would really love if we could watch a movie together in silence. Either she is asking me what is going to happen, telling what happens or critiques everything. Lol

@brookewithanE_ They come back. We have 3 in their 20’s and our youngest is 13 the 13 year old is becoming more independent while the 20 somethings are spending more time with us.

My 13 year old has always loved to help out in the kitchen. Today I trusted her to make supper all on her own. She made meatloaf, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It all tasted very good.
