@miss_mcinerney I completely, I have had new blinds in my classroom for the last 2 weeks and it has made a massive difference to lessons. In order to get the blinds I had to ask for all of the windows in my classroom to be cardboarded up and people finally saw the madness in it.

Just wondering if there are any History teachers out there who teach the Edexcel American West unit who have created a bank of past exam questions that they might be willing to share with me? @KKNTeachLearn @RogersHistory@jaypeekelly@MrsFHist@MrsFHistory#historyteacher THANKS
@CAFODSchools I want to set up a Step Count competition for joining in with The Big Lent Walk, but we'll need to use an app which is free. Any advice from @CAFODSchools about what other schools do would be greatfully received!
@CazAJ83 Thanks. I'm using it to help them understand the murder and arguments over the church courts but I'm sure it's going to need changes before I decide to do it again.
Trial: who murdered Thomas Becket? I'm revisiting some activities from my early teaching career because they were fun! But I no longer have all of the resources. Does anyone have a script for a murder trial that I could adapt please? @CazAJ83 @KKNTeachLearn @RogersHistory

@kate_stockings I've know this to work really well. Don't let the pupils put the treasury tags all the way through to the back of the book. They only need to be tagged in as far as the last page you have had to tag things in. This prevents them spending lots of time untangling.
@MrsFHist@jaypeekelly@eduqas@MrsFHistory I haven't finished looking properly but the USA is certainly weak followed by Germany in Transition. They do the USA unit last but Germany in Y10
Looking to connect with other teachers of @eduqas History GCSE. @MrsFHist@jaypeekelly do you still teach the eduqas syllabus? Is there anyone else out there. Thanks!
@jaypeekelly@MrsFHist@eduqas Thank you. Our results were not very good this year and I think we may need to consider a switch. @MrsFHistory do you mind if I ask which units you do? We do Health and Medicine, Germany, Development of the USA and Elizabeth.
@missgeog92 Thanks Laura, that's really helpful! I keep seeing the JOY on FB marketplace and thought it was probably too small. Enjoy the last day (if you haven't gone back to school already)
