My vision is blurry, I have brain fog, my speech is slurred and I'm headed back to #Duke#DukeED#GoDuke for the 3rd time!!! Who wants to practice medicine today?!! Let's Go!#GoBlue
@PolitPaige@DavidSteensma@SenBillCassidy Yep - then if an IV drug user attacks your children, they can't get their diseases. It's a precautionary safety measure. But I guess you supervise your kids 24/7 personally, which is totally abnormal.
@LeeAnnMcGinnis@DavidSteensma@SenBillCassidy Hopefully no one molests your children before age 12, because that's one way little kids get HepB. I'm glad you have the financial resources to be beside your children 24/7. As a parent with a job i got my child vaxed in case someone tried to harm him. Like a good Mom.
@ThoughtsMiz@DavidSteensma@SenBillCassidy As a nurse, maybe you've seen a child or infants that's been SA'd. That's one way infants contract hep b prevaccination, and I guess you're fine with them dying due to assault. I'm not. So we should vax babies so they dont pay for someone else's mistake. EMT and I know that.
@renwal11@DavidSteensma@SenBillCassidy It's science. If you think that no one could ever access and harm your child without your knowledge, congrats, but if they go to daycare get the vaccine. It's safer.
@renwal11@DavidSteensma@SenBillCassidy Uh - infants can get exposed to hep B post birth but preK. So MORE THAN 20,000 infants would actually die deoending on exposure variables. Potentially your kids. The fewer people that get the vaccine earlier, the more that contract the virus and in turn can expose other babies.
