Today, my supervisor told me without any hesitation that I needed to take a day off in the next week to comp for events I willingly volunteered for over the weekend.

I worked in Higher Ed Housing for 5 years and had to fight tooth for any flex or comp.time after extensive hours worked (read training, duty, opening etc). Easily clocking 60-70 hours in a week at times.

It is August first, there are 3 working professionals in my house and all of us are on work calls. Wow, life is vastly different when you aren't in Housing anymore.
