@lotyslove Apparently it’s just the Pennridge School District in Bucks County according to a different tweet. Even then, not a lot of people wanted it to be implemented within the curriculum. So the district just went against what the majority of people actually wanted.

@trill_lah But even then, the only remotely “safe” feature is large doors that slide down in certain hallways to block off areas. Even then, it doesn’t take much for someone to open a side door for an intruder. I’m so happy I graduated, I legitimately hated my school district.

@trill_lah It took a while for them to release the plans, but everyone was voicing their concerns about the lack of safety. But administration “claimed” everything was fine 🙄 I don’t even think the windows are bulletproof. It looks more like a college campus than an actual high school.

@ProfOsamudiaJ Your tweet appeared in my feed, and reminded me of how my school district built an entirely new high school, with 99% of it being made out of glass 🙃 little to no protective measures in place. It’s either run or fight, no where to hide. Thankfully I graduated.
