@NightShiftMD The comments surrounding COI is what makes my blood boil. Apparently codes of ethics mean nothing. Not to mention, pharmacists rarely if ever are compensated directly for a assessments, vaccinations, etc (though maybe that will change someday).

@jamie_wallis I moved from community pharmacy to long-term care just before the pandemic, and then into hospital last year. I still work a few hours per week in community but I will never go back to full-time there as long as I can help it. The change in people’s demeanour is awful.

@aiktaverma @NightShiftMD Private supply (ie from wholesalers) is ordered differently (and usually available much earlier) than public supply. Historically, we’ve almost always been able to offer private vaccines a week or two before public.

@jack_turban Most medication PA requests can easily be fixed by a #pharmacist team member working in the doctor’s office. Too bad @CMSGov doesn’t cover pharmacists’ services to help improve patient access to medications and physician QOL @pharmacists
