@Hayles_101 My other half finds it crazy that my employer would fly me to the US (three times) for me to effectively do a 12-15 minute talk at a conference, where I'm away for 4 or 5 nights. Obviously I love it, but when you think about it, the academic world is ridiculous in that sense!
