voice mode orchestrator in codex is... pretty slow but its such a pleasant way to work, esp for quick clean up / polish tasks.

I can see this mode of working being absolutely magical once its smoother.

starting in a nocode builder has been super helpful to visualize how elements stack & nest & interact. a lot clearer than than devtools (for me).

building the basic architecture manually gives me a clearer mental model and makes debugging things a lot easier.

I would bet that there is probably a v important role for ~human~ designers to play in this rapidly changing landscape, to create these bridges to the future and hold people's hands as this wave of new tech comes for every single sector

ai dev is changing so fast, i feel like i'm far behind on the latest best practices, models, and tools if i'm not on top of it for just a wknd

but then i remember that even years after figma overtook sketch, i still encountered people in the wild that designed ui.. in photoshop

even though that something is "better" in almost every way. resistance to optimization isn't usually rational. it's scary and annoying and emotional.
