@IBCycleWay @JaneOLO@nzsd@ponekeben @tomdom76 I have emailed an electoral officer about this and waiting to hear back. Because the website does state that not every candidate agrees with their values I’m probably not going to put too much effort into trying to get myself removed.
@IBCycleWay @nzsd@ponekeben@JaneOLO @tomdom76 agree with their stance on light rail. Disagree on their stance on rates, social housing, stopping all cycleways from being built and three waters
@IBCycleWay @nzsd@ponekeben@JaneOLO @tomdom76 After looking at the website I’d say I agree with their stances on political independence, focus on prioritising basic infrastructure, prioritising a new mt vic tunnel (although I would like to see this inclusive of all transport modes), not totally pedestrianising the goldenmile
@nzsd@ponekeben I didn’t, I hadn’t even heard of Better Wellington until Tom Hunt rang me up and asked me about it for this article https://t.co/407hKU0Ipj
@ohthebeardguy @ponekeben But also like hey if you want to pay for an ad I could never afford then like thanks I guess but also like hey could have asked me before you put me on a list that includes a VFF person
@ohthebeardguy @ponekeben Oh hmmmm… I wonder what the rules are for local govt or more specifically independent candidates? From the article written about this the other day I got the impression that it wasn’t illegal
