@edinhelp Please explain why car are being allowed down the Cowgate after 3pm on a busy Friday afternoon.
Your website states “Closed to vehicles, except cycles from 3pm to 5am every day” from 27 July to 7 September. Accident waiting to happen.

3 days commuting by bike to the office this week. On all 3 days the same vehicle parked on double yellow lines forcing cyclists in to the path of cars & blocking the cycle lane. Highway Code: “Double yellow lines mean no waiting at any time” 3 tickets raised with @edinhelp

@edinhelp 3 days commuting by bike this week and on all occasions the cycle lane (with double yellow lines) is blocked by vehicles. If @Edinburgh_CC is going to invest in cycle lanes let’s ensure that they are not used as car parking spaces.
