For the next few weeks I will tell you the best way to tactically vote on the right of politics to keep the left out of seats across the country. one hope!
Yes exactley, difference is with restore, they have come in probably just a bit to late. Reform (in its various guises) spent years building up to this. What we will see in Makersfield is, to be honest the result of an ill thought out restore strategy. If I were advising them, I would have suggested growing an organic regional base first and spread out from there, they have chosen, high risk, not yet sure what reward.
The problem with restore is two fold. Whilst yes there has been leakage from the right flank of reform, they traditionally would have always liked a harder right party. I joined in 2023 and to be honest cringed at a lot of the stuff that some said. Unfortunately you dont win with a hard right, thats just the truth, so if the noisy 5% dont come back, but you gain more people who wouldnt normally vote and genuine conservative and working class then thats the trade off. I have nothing against normal restore supporters, I think you have been sold a pup, but I do take issue with lowe, some of the people he has around him and a large amount of ethno nationals, especially ones that are linked to C18
Its disruption, designed specifically to push reform further right. Its a dangerous ploy really, as I think it shows how nieve restore are, if they do spilt the vote sufficiently, then they will be villianised by a large section of the right as bringing in a harder socialist government. Reform will relentlessly attack them on this. If they perform badly, in the same way that advance did, then the myth is blown away and it shows them for what they are. The only way Restore come out of this with any type of credibility is if they 15% minimum. They havent take into account that they will get their vote squeezed at the ballot box when it comes to the undecided voters who would vote for them but see the way the wind is blowing. If you look close enough, you can see their on-line and on the ground momentum is stalling, (if you know where to look) this is why the attacks are becoming less and less and the engagement is dropping. Sorry its such a long post.
@lukerobertblack This attitude here, is exactly where you will soon be relegated to a regional pressure group. Completely off the pace of public sentiment yet again. Same old Tories, looking down their nose at us.
Apologies, I missed your interpretation of this. I do data analysis part time, which includes social media and MSM biases, and so one. My only advice is, take this space with a pinch of salt. When you dive deeper and beneath the festering surface of X and the MSM, on the ground the mood is much, much different and its all to play for.
@PattenNeil5298@HazelAppleyard If you believe any of the nonsense you have just written, and you have a knowledge of what is really, really happening, then I have some swap land in Florida you may be interested in.
Merseyside Reform council has cancelled all refugee week events & demanded money already spent to be returned. The previous administration set aside £60k for it.
“In light of the illegal immigration emergency…we don't think that this is an appropriate use of council resources”
