I've finally decided to #buildinpublic for a project I'm working on. I've been wanting to get more into home automation for the last few years but haven't for no good reason.
@lifeof_jer Also, why did it have access to production keys? Man I have so many questions on this post... and APIs to drop databases?? oh boy. This isn't the agents fault. Just the same as if a developer would have done this, it wouldn't be their fault either. There are so many wrongs here
@lifeof_jer Uh, you have paying customers whose business depends on you and your latest database backup is...3 months old? Yeah I'd probably swap that out to every 6 hours MINIMUM!
@VicVijayakumar WV is pretty nice man. Proud to call it home. When my kids were 6 and 1 we spent a year in SE Asia. I wish it was under 8 hours. It's more like 20
@VicVijayakumar Immigration is SO much easier with a baby. Those hardcore "gimme some cash under the table or you're not coming in our fn country" dudes melt like babies when they see you backpacking infants through the terminal. Also, my vote is Costa Rica
In fairness, Spotify is a great service. Their UI is just *chefs kiss*. This was a few years back when we were buying a house and keeping expenses too tight

That's okay. I think I'll want to stream the audio into Google Speech to Text so it can process faster. I'm still going to keep dumping the raw audio file into S3 so I capture that data on every request. We can probably do these things simultaneously.
