Paid a visit to the former Nýja Bíó in Siglufjöður, where my grandmother (or Amma) grew up sneaking out to catch a glimpse of Errol Flynn in swashbucklers like THE SEA HAWK. Originally opened in 1924, it was the oldest cinema in Iceland when it was sold to a restaurateur in 1999.
