Well-meaning intentions don’t always result in positive outcomes. When #evidence shows potential harm outweighs benefits, you stop the intervention. Otherwise, you become an #activist.

It seems many clinicians have lost the skill of reading and interpreting a #research study or paper @drjohnm. What we are left with is #guidelines which are slanted based on #Opinion NOT facts.
The influence of #pharma has made this worse.

The wave of teens seeking gender transition in the UK continues to grow. According to the most recent data released by #GIDS and its new referral service, after a COVID dip, referrals doubled 2021-22, for a total of 5,000+ referrals. Teen girls continue to dominate this trend. /1
