It was triggered by one of 19 forensic audits this government has been forced to undertake.

Later today, we will have 3rd reading debate on the Municipal Accountability Act, 2025. If passed, it will finally create a process to remove councillors & mayors for egregious behaviour like harassment, abuse and violence. It's not perfect but is progress and a long time coming!
