@spfl@Morton_FC@WilliamHill Well-deserved, Cammy. Not just for the goals scored but also the goals prevented and all-round play. No mean feat with so many good players in the Championship these days. My son was playing "Daddy Cool" for days
@Morton_FC That quarter final win against Dundee Utd meant so much after so many years since a semi-final at Hampden. Jai's run and explosive finish from Ross Forbes deft header had me ten feet in the air. Still hoping I didn't block the view of anyone behind me!
@mooneyleon@Morton_FC@Chrismcnulty75@1874_ton Great to see again. Yes, biggest crowd that season and good to see Robbie celebrating THAT goal with the fans. Remember asking myself had my eyes deceived me or had I really seen such a truly amazing piece of skill in such a vital match. Magic night
@lewismcg_@Morton_FC All the best with whatever comes next, Lewis. Was surprised to hear you were going. Have enjoyed watching you develop and play over the last few years. Sure we'll see you back at Cappielow one way or another.
@Magsbryce1874@GBRPhotos@tontastic Was really disappointed by Alex. He was well-liked when he was here before. I remember him as an honest and hard-working player and looked forward to seeing how he had developed. Disappointed and confused by what we all saw yesterday
@tontastic Thanks for slowing that down. From our seat, we couldn't tell for sure if Jack got it before it crossed the line. Great cross in though to begin with and George did great to get his head on it. A day to remember
@__jamiec__@officialdafc What's a jobber - that a Fife word for an experienced striker? To be fair, the Pars team on Saturday was a pale shadow of the team from the first game. Rarely seen such a nervous defence. Morton's injury crisis was unbelievable at the start of the season. Swings and roundabouts
@Morton_FC We arrived around 2.30 and were inside in plenty of time, but were already a few confused supporters having trouble with the stewards trying hard to help. Not a modern issue. Still remember missing the first 3 goals at Love St in the 4-1 win many years ago
@Jamie_Millard@imried7@Morton_FC Amazing how short the shelf life of a modern manager. Dougie has brought in a huge change from day one and delighted that we don't have a board that would fire him when the injuries were piling up earlier in the season. Congratulations and thanks for lots of great days so farπ
@imried7 Well done to everyone. What another great performance, especially after what appeared to be some harsh blows in the first half. Hope Shug recovers - a worrying sight as heβs been playing great once he got back up to match speed.
@CDGMFC @martinwitherow1 Can never work out how Brian became the panto villain to Ton fans. Don't remember anything of his early days at Cappielow but remember being asked years ago by a quiet and reasonable fan why he celebrated Raith goals right in front of the Cowshed. No idea!
@CDGMFC Last season the blocked shots were going in. Hard to bounce back after such a horrible start, but we could have done it. Supporters were great cheering the team on in the second half. Top 3 starting to open up a gap but everyone else within reach and many fellow strugglers
@CuparArabs Doesn't look good. Hats off to United for keeping going even with 10 men. Even from up the other end we could see they were putting in some really dangerous crosses. Glad to hold out for a point even with an extra man for 25 minutes
@tontastic One of those rare moments when you get to enjoy it and get off your seat and cheer even before the ball's crossed the line. Loving those facial expressions and body language of the incredulous United fans. Glad we made the long trip up. Best team performance for a wee whileπ
@Morton_FC@TonClubTogether Makes a lot of sense and good to hear directly rather than via speculation and the usual inevitable grumblings that come from an injury-influenced run of form. We bounced back from poor runs last season so let's hope we can do it again. Never easy in the Championship!
