I ordered Handball Spezial trainers using a 25% Perks at Work employee offer. Adidas cancelled the order with no explanation — even though the shoes are/were still in stock in my size.
Instead of reinstating the order, I was sent a £9 voucher
No answer to either — just generic replies and eventually my case was closed for “not responding”, even though I had.
After decades as a loyal adidas customer, this has been incredibly disappointing. I've been exchanging messages via WhatsApp for 3 days and still no resolution
I was sent a voucher with the cancellation email for 10% off but it could not be applied to the shoes I made the original order for. Thanks a bunch, great way to reward 50 years of brand loyalty.
@adidasUK would be nice if someone from your organisation could explain to me why you cancelled my order for a pair of spezial trainers that I bought with a 25% off voucher, despite the shoes being in stock on your website in the same size and colour I ordered. AUK99215436
@HMRCcustomers Brilliant. Thanks. Just to be 100% clear, assuming I’ve been 100% truthful here (I have!) can I rely on what your telling me and that the fine will cancelled and no interest charged etc.
@HMRCcustomers I need some advice. I told you I did not need to self asses 23-24 during the tax year by phone. I kept getting demands to SA until recently. I’ve been online and told you I do not need to SA and registered this against my account.

I have been sent a demand for a fine of £100 and a follow up stating I will be charged interest on this last week. What should I do. I do not think I should pay any fine as I told you I didn’t need SA and I don’t actually need to !
@HMRCcustomers Cont. When I call the HMRC helpline, I get directed down a path that results in auto termination of the call every single time. My only recourse is to write a letter to HMRC! I can’t do a live chat, I can’t speak to advisors, I can’t resolve by going online. Youre like the mafia.
@HMRCcustomers Last week I received another demand for £100 fine in the post, due by the 27th March. It states that I will be charged interest if it is paid late. I’m really not happy about this. Why am I being threatened with interest on a fine I should not be even be paying ?! Should I pay ?
@HMRCcustomers Just to add. I informed HMRC that I did not need to self assess in that year during the tax year via a phone call. I was assured that this was a valid method of making that clear to HMRC
