The Dodgers negotiated an unfair TV contract deal, then their owner got his insurance and annuity companies to give loans to him so he could afford massive spending.

He did things like buy Chelsea, the Lakers and spend massively on the Dodgers by doing illegal loans and arms length transactions that aren’t allowed with insurance rules

He has to sell EVERYTHING he can to cover the loans or he could face criminal prosecution. There will be a liquidation, selling the Lakers and his stake in Chelsea will not be enough

The Dodgers “dynasty” is built on financial cheating, enabled by a 1 of 1 TV Deal they got through a loophole in the McCourt Bankruptcy and improper transactions with life insurance and annuity companies Guggenheim owns

We do not need a salary cap

The Left’s latest freakout over the USS Abraham Lincoln is one of the purest windows yet into the soft, entitled, and deeply unserious mind of the American left.

But nothing better captures the pure intellectual bankruptcy of the entire narrative than the photo that has been passed around by millions of people the last few days.

The one they insist shows the “appalling” conditions on the Lincoln.

Look at it.

Those are cinder-block walls.

Cinder. Block. Walls.

There are no cinder-block walls on U.S. Navy warships. Not on carriers. Not on anything that is designed to fight, absorb battle damage, and stay afloat.

Ships are built of steel bulkheads for reasons that involve weight, strength, fire, flooding, and basic physics. Any sailor, any shipyard worker, any halfway competent adult who has ever set foot on a gray hull knows this obvious truth..

Yet the photo was shared, celebrated, and weaponized by media figures, Democrat politicians, and even some Democrat veterans who should know better, without a single one of them stopping to ask the most elementary question: “Hey… aren’t those cinder blocks?”

This Lincoln episode was never about conditions aboard ship. It was always about the mean-spirited compulsion to tarnish the military and everything American, even when the “evidence” is so stupid it would embarrass a middle-school shop class.
