Last week, one afternoon, I looked outside. It was extremely bright sunshine while pouring down with rain.
Once I was driving along the M42, in sunshine, then torrential rain, then sun again!! You could see a line between wet and dry on the road.

@countrymousie With Carp you will need to supplement them with feeding, to establish them. Not much, or they won't find more natural foods, but in the colder months, you may need to feed them once the vegetation starts to die back. In the Winter months they become dormant.
