I believe the reason it takes a long time to break into the industry in a consistent way is that, ignoring the overnight success stories, most writers get better with time and experience which only comes with struggling writing your spec scripts for a decade +. My 2 cents.
Just a reminder that Hollywood isnโt dead and you can still write and sell original scripts. Actors can still book dream roles. Filmmakers can make movies in their yard that become a worldwide hit. Just keep creating and doing things your way.

A few years back, I got to meet Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker! He was a very cool, down-to-earth guy, and you could probably talk with him for hours about cars. haha. I was glad that I was able to get a picture!
