The Irish Redhead Convention was a three-day annual festival in Crosshaven, Ireland, first held in 2010, celebrating redheads and their unique traits. It ended in 2016.
50 000 Poles showed up at the main square in Kraków’s Old Town last week to celebrate the promotion of their team Wisla Krakow to the first league.
They cleaned up the square before going home, leaving no garbage behind.

In a parallel universe Labour would be talking about economic growth outperforming expectations and being revised upwards this year, NHS waiting lists hitting the lowest in 3.5 years and - just now - net migration halving last year to 171,000. Instead they’re in crisis.
Inflation down more than expected. Growth up last week. Borrowing down last year. Investment up. Waiting lists falling. Migration down from record highs. Much more to do, and the conflict in Iran to weather, but real concrete progress is underway
Time to let the Lobby clutch their fluffy mics and get on with governing 💥💥💥 the whole coup bullshit has fallen apart. I remain critical of Keir and want radical change in policy, style and party democracy ✊
He came in when they were at rock bottom. He turned them around. He delivered an enormous victory. But they’ve grown tired of the boring playing style so they’re going to get rid of him. It doesn’t always work out for the best…
If the Tories hadn't called a referendum on leaving the EU, there wouldn't be a boat problem, few people would have even heard of the ECHR, racists, bigots and xenophobes wouldn't be shagging flags and we would all have been much better off in the EU.
"So yes, Labour receives my vote today. Not because I am Jewish, despite the now inevitable attempts to drag everything through the prism of ethnically coded allegiance. Not because Sir Keir Starmer happens to be married to somebody sharing my own heritage. And not merely because Labour has at least attempted to confront antisemitism institutionally while others have preferred equivocation. Labour receives my vote because, amid all the smoke, mirrors and mediated excitation, it remains the only formation in Lambeth that still appears to possess enough institutional memory and municipal DNA to govern a borough of this complexity with any residual sense of fairness."

My favourite thing about this goal will always be the same thing - Wayne Rooney arguing with the ref, telling him to do one then casually running off to score one of the greatest goals in Premier League history a moment later.

To the Green Party and the Lib Dems, what on earth are you are doing?
You bring down Starmer, detonate the centre of government, and drag the country into another period of chaos, all while gambling on an early general election. And for what? Who gains from that? Farage does. He is the one waiting for exactly this kind of stupidity.
It is reckless, vain, and politically idiotic. Stop it.
To the Labour Party, get a grip, close ranks around Starmer, and get through this period. Take the local election battering that is coming and keep moving. Do not blow up your own government.
You still have three years of a huge mandate. That is three more years to keep repairing the damage, to keep turning the country around, and to keep improving people’s lives. The media will keep hammering you, and the political class will keep sneering, but Britain is in a better place under Labour than it was under the Tories. Could things be better? Definitely.
But, if Reform get their hands on power, you can say goodbye to the Britain we know. Look at the chaos Trump has unleashed in barely over a year back in office, the cruelty, the instability, the degradation of public life, and imagine that transplanted here. That is the road Farage wants to take this country down.
These are not normal times. Politics has changed, the old two-party order is breaking apart, and instability is no longer some distant threat hovering on the horizon. It is coming, and it will define the years ahead unless people stop acting so idiotically.
Burke popularised space travel and is still in many ways still unsurpassed as an explainer of science. And this is great (I’ve RT’d it before) … but it is two shots not one, it cuts 25 sec before the end, making it easier to achieve
