Helmsley convenes the Gut Cell Atlas Crohn’s Disease Consortium (GCA) annually. The GCA is generating a cellular atlas by cataloging the many cell types in the gastrointestinal tract with single-cell technologies. The atlas will provide novel insights into the cellular and molecular changes in Crohn’s disease, leading to improved diagnostics and treatments.

If you’re at #DDW2024, check out the Helmsley-supported @PIANOIBD study presenting preliminary results from the first global consensus conference on pregnancy and inflammatory bowel disease.

A multidisciplinary team will prepare evidence-based recommendations surrounding all aspects of pregnancy in patients with IBD: from fertility, to pregnancy and delivery, to infant outcomes.

The session will be held on Sunday, May 19 at 10AM in Ballroom B, session #3210.
