@TrishHicken@WordAware @HilaryLowe2 This is fascinating! I'm afraid I can't be much help! But I'm going to keep following all the responses out of interest!
This Wednesday at the new time of 18:00 (BST) I'll be talking to Martin Bloomfield all about the challenges of Dyslexia in ELT.
Tune in to @TTRadio2022 to find out more.

@EmilyBrysonELT @ELTNGLEurope @ESOL_Eve@IPSENSIG@seburnt @lottiegalpined1 @ChloeFibonacci @EYE_efl @lexicojules @CarolS_74 @tabularasalab A challenging challenge! A in W is one of my favourite books and immediately springs to mind when I think of accessibility. The frustration she feels when she can't get in must be familiar to a lot of learners when faced with new language.
@LessonsCharlie@CambridgeEng At a seminar I attended once they said if it's too long, they read everything for the Content mark, but then only look at the part within the word limit for the Com Achievement, Organisation and Language marks. Again, sb pls correct me if I've remembered that wrongly!
Spring is in the air, so my focus shifted to healthy food and keeping fit.๐ช๐ฝI've adapted a reading part 3 - FCE exam task into a lesson plan. Not gonna lie, this class was heavily inspired by @stephlvalerio word-formation sudoku!๐

So here's my CPD doodle, meant to represent: 1-read useful articles on social media 2-make a note of it 3-use in classroom 4-reflect 5-blog 6-post on social media... (though 4, 5 and 6 don't happen as often as they should I must admit!)
@E_Bryson Thanks! It made me a bit emotional drawing it! Got lots of hugs scheduled in for this summer at long last. Hope you get more baby-cuddles soon too!
