@FreddyPuzaCC Ridiculous. This isn't punishing people for being poor. It's giving an extra push to those who refuse services & housing. While poverty may be part of the issue, it's overshadowed by open drug use, unsanitary conditions, and the flagrant crime encampments bring.

@JessicaValenti Discomfort with poverty? I don't think so. I live in LA where I see sick, sore covered people roaming the streets screaming on the daily. It's the inhumanity that disgusts me, not the overly.

@michelletandler Totally agree! Being horrified by watching a man walk down the street half naked covered in dirt and sores isn't humane. Poverty I can handle. Sick individuals and dangerous (to themselves for sure) roaming the streets of LA I cannot.
