Sadly, the recent Disney layoffs hit the @FiveThirtyEight team hard. After eight great years, I was laid off this week. I'm so proud of the work we've done and even prouder of the culture we've built.

After six years, my time at @fivethirtyeight has come to an end. I’ve grown immensely as an editor and leader here, and am sad to leave my colleagues. We built an incredible thing, and I am proud of all our coverage.
