@nzherald Omg. Im a manager at countdown and we're literally told by head office that we HAVE to atleast ask people if they need a mask when they're not wearing one... Customers, merchandisers, contractors, everyone that comes in store. The public need to stop thinking we make the rules.

@kimmieM1973 I'm pretty sure they're doing it to keep you safe and stop hospitals/doctors being flooded with covid patients... Like if you're vaxxed its a lot more likely you won't need hospital care. I don't know about Canada but here in NZ over 90% of people are vaccinated now

@DadChallengePod The vaxx is only meant to make symptoms less severe and reduce the risk of you dying. It's not a guarantee to not getting it, nor is it like other vaccines that stop you getting things like measles. Omicron is also more transmittable than any other varient, everyone will get it.
