Enjoyed my visit to Hall Court yesterday and met staff from both the clozapine and depo clinics - impressed with the continuity of care, but blown away by their ability to positively follow up patients who are non-concordant with medication, ultimately ensuring patient safety

Our final team award is for Team of the Year: Outstanding Commitment to Sustainability/Green Care, and we welcome Nicky Phillpott, Deputy Director at @GreenerNHS, on stage to announce the nominees.
#AndTheWinnerIs... Telford and Wrekin Community Mental Health Service Depot Clinic from @MPFTNHS.
The judges said โThis project successfully improved the timeliness of medication delivery to patients, preventing periods without necessary medication and reducing the risk of relapse due to treatment delays and potentially reducing the need for outpatient appointments and hospital admission. Patients have been empowered by enabling them to collect prescriptions at a pharmacy of their choice. The changes have been permanently embedded into the team, with a maintained โPlan Do Study Actโ style of making changes.โ #RCPsychAwards

One year on and Iโm feeling better than I ever have. Pushing myself out my comfort zone and actually believing in myself!
My trauma doesnโt define me, it makes me who I am, and the incredible therapy I had allowed me to find the real me. Forever grateful to my therapist. ๐
I wasnโt in a good place mentally when I started my NMP course & I didnโt know how I would get through it. But today I found out that I passed my pharmacology exam & two OSCEs for my NMP course & Iโve never been prouder of myself! ๐๐ #Therapy#TherapyWorks#PTSD#PTSDAwareness
Reflecting on the last year on #MHNursesDay today.
Itโs been a really challenging year. I have PTSD after an incident at work & at the time I wasnโt sure I could carry on nursing but after therapy I have regained my love for MH nursing & I am incredibly proud of my profession ๐
I couldnโt be prouder to be a part of this incredible team!! Iโve had a passion for improving physical healthcare in mental health since uni and Iโm happy to be in a position where we can make a positive impact to our patients, this is just the beginning! ๐
