Here’s my husband and son so excited to go to opening day today for the @Mets !! While there smiles were wide here, there hearts were broken when they were in stand still traffic for over two hours 1 mile away from the stadium.

@StevenACohen2 My son and husband were, until they were turned away at citifield due to no more available parking at the stadium or the surroundings area. My 4 year old son never even got to attend his first opening game. Heartbroken.

@Mets So heartbroken for my son who had waited all day to sit near the first base line to see his favorite player Pete Alonso. The sadness and disappointed I experienced on the phone when talking to him is something i hope no other @Mets parent has to hear.
