I mean. Just saying …. Note the time stamp - minutes after the FIFA ruling when ‘everybody’ was saying it was over for them.

Run the table, finish 2nd in the group (if all results go as ‘expected’)- keep fighting. Defend the gold medal 🥇 Support the players…#CanWNT

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

@brylaura11 If they win all 3 games they would finish with nine points. If France wins against NZ then the winner of Col v Nz would be tied with Canada for 2nd with 3 points. H2H tiebreaker - Canada wins 2nd

@robertbenzie I am so confused as to how minimum wage increases are related to the sunshine list (as outdated and antiquated as it is)

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

I am now incapable of watching basketball without noting every ‘team’ rebound. I blame @NoDunksInc, specifically @TasMelas. Just one more thing they’ve taught me in the last decade. #sicko

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

@wojespn @NoDunksInc emergency pod? It’s freezing in Canada would love to have some 🔥 analysis of this ‘mid’ season trade. @jeskeets

What can I say….

Take a screenshot of this GIF, and whichever new word you land on is YOUR word for 2024.

Godspeed.

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

@SHEscoresbanger @WsoccerCa What an absolute inspiration she is (or should be) to every soccer player in @GreaterSudbury. Anytime the city wants to rename a field after her would be the perfect day!!

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

What a total basketball sicko I have become…. @NoDunksInc

Not sure what this says about me @NoDunksInc @RimandAB @treykerby @jeskeets @TasMelas @AyshaLikeAsia @JayR1085

No Dunks - I enjoyed every one of the 12,698 minutes I spent with you in 2023. Thank you. #SpotifyWrapped https://t.co/6ddoIcdcBz

What bothers me most … no lessons learned from Game 2 a year ago - acknowledgement they made a mistake taking our KG in 2022 - but here we are again @Wilnerness @SportsnetBen #BlueJays @KeeganMatheson

From one proud Sudburian to another - absolutely incredible performance by Lacasse last night (and in Jamaica). @GreaterSudbury are you listening? Build better/more infrastructure. A small soccer stadium would be nice!
@DarioZulich bring @Project8Sports to town too

[Meaghen Johnson @MeaghenJohnson]

Lacasse told me yesterday that “the gang from Sudbury” was making the 4-hour drive to be at tonight’s game (she also joked, “I don’t know why we’re not playing in Sudbury.”). She’s putting on a show for her family.

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

Does anyone know if the players representing Canada at the World Cup get paid by Canada Basketball for appearances? Or only soccer players get paid to play for Canada? #canmnt

[Canada Basketball @CanBball]

squad's just gettin started 🇨🇦

#FIBAWC | #OneTeam

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

@JohnMolinaro Is this the go to excuse for Canadian players now? The fault of our performance is not with us - it is with the ‘Club’ (federation). Is there blame to go around? Of course, but look in the mirror first take responsibility and become part of the solution.

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

@ArashMadani The excuse is built right in. Federation. Just keep the focus off the players. It can’t be that!!

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

@SHEscoresbanger @ArashMadani When all the financial resources are being sucked up by the players on both national teams (to represent their country) then how can the federation properly support the other 95% of the game in this country. Canada soccer is not just senior national teams.

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]

@rwesthead 1. John Herdman is Canada Soccer.
2. Every cent that goes to players in compensation for playing for their country takes away money for preparation
3. Canada soccer is more then national teams
4. Sounds like a guy deflecting from his own awful performance

[Stephen McKetsy @steps75]
