@hanekeamour yes. people beat their s/o when they're drunk or high. those substances lowered their decision-making abilities and inhibitions, but that doesn't change the fact that they hurt someone. even if it was the blood of akasha that doesn't change what happened to Louis.

Lestat still dropped Louis and beat him bloody, he still laid hands on Claudia and dragged her off the train. the only thing the show said he didn't do was threaten rape. nothing in s3 retconned or took away those moments, and I'm confused by how you think it did.
