Happy Birthday to one of the last D-Day survivors, John Tomlinson, who is 101 today!
John was awarded the Legion d'honneur for his service in the RAF during the Second World War. He volunteered at 18 and trained as an aeroplane engine fitter, working on the Spitfire and bombers.
