*sigh* you still have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve actually seen the Duo, in daylight, outside. It’s just as bright as the Samsung Fold 8 (it has a similar screen) and a iPhone 17 Pro, the phone has a sensor in it to detect if it’s outdoors or not, and doubles the over all brightness while outside. The average brightness at max is 1000nits, with 1600nits with HDR content indoors. The outdoor mode of up to 3000nit max activates outside, but it depends on the content on your screen.

If you’re talking about a completely white screen, the average outdoor brightness is between 1500~2000nits, but how often is your whole screen white? It’s still completely easy to see and bright enough for outdoors. Usually only 1000nits is need to be able to usefully observe emitted light screeen outside. So even at base the brightness is fine.

Also, you STILL don’t know what brightness setting he had the phone set at in that picture. It’s a phone, they’ve been making them for years, seeing a screen outside is not new.

Most of the time the money spent on marketing is by and from the label, not out of pocket. Almost no artist pays their own marketing budget, you only do that if you have more ownership, you want control, you are not getting to support you want, you want to make an extraordinary outlier rollout, or all of the above.

If they made it a Pro, the price would be ok. But it doesn’t have the full camera array, so it’s technically in the non Pro family, and doesn’t come with any of the Pro features except the A20 Pro inside.

Meaning a Duo Pro will be even more expensive. It’s just price prohibitive for the feature set.

Uhhh.... no. Drake also increases interest and investment in hiphop clutrually and financially. He does, in fact, increase all metrics and add to the fabric of Hip Hop/RNB the world over. The answer is "Yes, and..." not "Either, or..." Division is bad for humans, and bad for Hip Hop. The game is not zero sum.
