'God knew the worst about you when He chose you for Jesus' sake."
-J.I. Packer

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Preacher, are you obsessed with your own glory rather than the One you claim to serve? Let your heart be crushed afresh under the gospel.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Obedience to Jesus Christ flows from a heart that knows he deserves wrath but has received God's grace/mercy.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Why do we think God will allow those who contaminate His gospel to get away with it without any penalty?

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

The believer in Christ has the divine birthright as his/her inheritance; why do we typically live as spiritual paupers?

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Serving Christ flows from submission to Christ-you cannot separate the two.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

If you add anything to the God of the Bible, He no longer is who He said He was.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Anything coming before God is idolatry, this is an offense to God and we must repent (turn from & run to Christ), so fellowship is restored

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Biblical evidences of being regenerated:Love for God, hatred fro sin, love for God's people, hunger for the Word, desire to confess sin.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

The narrow path Jesus spoke of is toiling prayer, purposeful Bible saturation, power of proclamation of His truth leading to His glory.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

The believers journey: In the Word, our worldview is formed, our daily walk, our warfare, and our witness to others flows from the Word.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

The innocent became guilty, the guilty became innocent & free from guilt & condemnation & reconciled with God; yes, the gospel of Jesus.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Sinner, come to the fountain of life & drink deeply of His forgiveness & grace; Jesus is the only wrath-remover & reconciler for man.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Preacher, wake up & proclaim Jesus Christ unapologetically or help usher into hell those you proclaim to love.

[Scott M. Terrell @sterrell41]

Its not a profession of faith that saves man, but the possession of that faith resulting in in daily obedience to Christ.
