@AlexMasonCrypto The computers have stopped doing Bitcoin $BTC math to validate ledgers. They have been updated to act as AI agents instead. It’s more lucrative for compute farms.
Canada’s March to the Match continues to work its way through the Toronto streets toward the stadiums.
Beautiful scenes as fans chant and cheer and high five fans who are lining the streets.
It’s going to be electric inside the stadium today.
Absolutely incredible:
Over the last 6 years, the S&P 500 has risen +130% while US Consumer Sentiment has collapsed by -55%, to its lowest since data began in 1952.
We are witnessing the formation of the biggest wealth divide in modern history.
The once tightly correlated love affair between Bitcoin and the Nasdaq has come to a dramatic end.
BTC has fallen a respectable yet shameless 40%, while the Nasdaq, in a distorted but impressive show of strength, is up 26% since the pair parted ways.
What does this divergence tell us?
The majority of investors have quietly left the crypto space or simply given up and rotated into semis. This does not bode well for crypto. Bitcoin now finds itself stuck between a rock and a hard place.
When the Nasdaq eventually corrects (and it’s a matter of when, not if), Bitcoin’s lacklustre performance will become painfully pronounced. Capital will flee the high-risk, non-yielding speculative sector in epic fashion.
A meaningful recovery would require an entirely new breed of retail investors fresh “cattle” to fall into the same old trap.
The sector, as it currently stands, survives largely on hype and hope rather than fundamentals.
