@TJMoe28 correction---- it only happens bcz we keep electing them back into office. I agree in term limits asap, but the only people we can blame for these politicians staying so long is ourselves for voting them in
If a firm announced a machine that:
- Runs on grass, bracken, straw and hedge trimmings
- Works on land no tractor can climb
- Turns cellulose into steak, milk, butter and cheese
- Fertilises the field it stands in, while standing in it
- Builds topsoil instead of eating it
- Runs on rain and sunlight, no cable, no charger
- Repairs itself and builds its own replacement every year
- Clears scrub, holds back wildfire and keeps the hill open
- Leaves behind leather, wool, tallow, gelatin, bone and 100 other products
- Has been in continuous service for 10,000 years without a recall
It would take every environmental award going and the chief executive would be knighted.
It is called a ruminant.
We have a cow, a sheep, and a goat already doing all of it, for nothing, on ground that grows nothing else.
The plan is to tax them by the burp.
Activist: "Farmers pump their cows full of antibiotics. It's in every glass of milk."
Dairy farmer: "Do you know what happens if it is?"
Activist: "People drink it."
Dairy farmer: "The tanker gets tested at the gate. One cow's worth of antibiotic in 20,000 litres and the whole load goes down the drain. Every farm on the run that morning gets their milk tipped, and the farm that did it pays for all of it."
Activist: "So you're saying it never happens."
Dairy farmer: "I'm saying a treated cow on this farm gets red tape round her leg, goes to the back of the parlour, and her milk goes in a bucket for 6 days. I treat her like she's radioactive, because financially she is."
Activist: "You still use them."
Dairy farmer: "On a cow that's ill. Same as you. The vet writes it up, the date goes on the wall, and the wall's checked. Use on this farm is about half what it was 10 years ago, and that's every dairy I know."
Activist: "Routine use in feed, then."
Dairy farmer: "Illegal for years. Growth promoters went 20 years ago. You're describing a chicken shed in a country I don't farm in."
Activist: "You can't prove it's not in the milk."
Dairy farmer: "I can prove it 3 times a week, because they test it 3 times a week and send me the sheet. When did you last get a sheet on your oat drink?"
Activist: "That's different."
Dairy farmer: "It is. Nobody tests it. Mine's the most inspected liquid in your kitchen and it's the one you're scared of."
@Narthax22@w_terrence I will give u facts bcz I travel to Europe alot.... Trump is being laughed at and and mocked but its only bcz they only get CNN and BBC like most of the world for American news and we all know how badly they report and lie. They need the truth not corrupt media
@ChuckGrassley Respectfully Senator these issues did not happen overnight its been building for decades and where was the concern then? Sorry your concerns now are more then a little late
@Rialimiduile@CowboyFL2 What u call factory farming is actually tens of thousands of local farmers raising the pigs in communities all over the United States and parts of the world. These farmers are under contract to produce healthy pigs under humane conditions and are required to do so by regulations
