@a_man_possessed Interesting. I think the frequency of 4 and 5 of a kind hands is high.
The dice with only one of a suit should match; all aces, for example. Seeing to choose the dice is too good, so a bag draw is probably needed.
@RiledNerd@M_AndrewsJr To the previous point: the room where you are looking at the TV makes a difference.
If the room is bright, like a Target store, the OLED may not appear as competitive. OLED's are also potentially vulnerable to burn in.
That said, I have both -- in different types of rooms.
@PeterLMcPherson Yeah, you want the kids to think, "I can do this."
So, prototype-in-a-shoebox sort of thing.
If one of them produces something the over next summer, you'll know that you had an impact.
I am beyond excited to be able to let ya'll know that @wehrlegig is interested in taking on our little game about a very queer band of warriors. @josephnschmidt
@Drawnonward The runaway leader who keeps drawing the Heroine... Mmm. Yeah, guilty as charged.
I seriously enjoyed the tactical retreat while maintaining point superiority. That was really interesting.
@EuroGamerGirl If there are already cards in the game and size is not an issue, I have used tarot cards for some of my prototypes. I'm a fan of the extra space/legibility.
@Drawnonward If I win on my first play... I'll assume I cheated somehow.
After that... I want things to be close, so still losing "some" of the time. I want to see the crash coming so I can try to mitigate issues.

@BigBadOverlord I think you are forgetting that it used to be easy to give a character "character": they just needed to light up a cigarette, pipe or cigar.

Removing this easy button has made life hard for creatives...
@playnyctophobia Short version: It would use buttons to reveal hidden zones that reveal/hide token-elements and perhaps other buttons. The elements form sight perspectives: if you position your view correctly you "spot" the correct button ID on the "wall" then tap the next button in series.
