It is profoundly damaging to society to have the media constantly & repeatedly denying or suppressing the truth. They turned “both sides of the story” into whatever false narrative they wanted vs the truth. But the fact is there is only one truth. You may perceive it differently or feel differently about it but you cannot change it - no matter who you are. For way too long, the media in this country have denied the truth & pushed lies at the expense of the American people. Telling people Ivermectin was nothing more than a “horse de-wormer” and could not cure Covid was a catastrophic lie and the most basic journalism would have shown every journalist that Ivermectin was not only safe & effective, the NIH’s own data showed it worked. These people are nothing short of disgusting. They used their platform during Covid to call for the unvaccinated not to be treated at the ER - they wanted people to die because they did not want to participate in medical tyranny in violation of informed consent - a universal and sacred right of every individual. I could go on and on. The examples are legion but I will leave that to the internet & let the army of the enraged put the media on trial. I already know they’re guilty after years of watching them obliterate every principle of real journalism.

I watched this story all day. The language kept moving depending on which outlet was reporting on it.

Early morning: shots fired “near” a synagogue.

Late morning: an officer wounded in a shooting “near” a synagogue.

Then: it was right in front of the synagogue.

Tonight: as many as 30 shots. A man with a shotgun opened fire on an officer stationed outside Sons of Jacob in Belleville as Yom Kippur services began. Congregants hit the floor. Stained glass was pierced. Homes and cars were hit. The officer is in ICU. The gunman is fighting for his life.

On the holiest night of the Jewish year, Jews praying needed an armed officer at the door — and even that almost wasn’t enough.

That is the story. Not “near.”

Shortly after Charlie Kirk was killed on their campus, UVU faculty members were privately emailing the university president demanding that the school reject any attempt to memorialize him. They claimed that Charlie "appealed to the worst of us," and preyed on the fears of "impressionable youth." What's insane is as these private conversations were going on, the university’s administration was out front parading a public campaign on civility and dialogue.

The sheer cowardice and hypocrisy on display here is sickening.
