Calling Conservatives in SNP/Lab marginals in Scotland. Please consider lending your vote to SNP this once โ to hold Labour back and avoid landslide. Thanks.
We're supposed to vote Lab for 'change'. What change? Oh, "the change Scotland needs". And what is that?? Without specifics + commitments, it's just a fluffy pink cloud. Whereas the SNP-led govt has delivered a raft of actual benefits. Vote SNP to keep them.
Tomorrow letโs show the Tories and Labour that their lies, scare mongering and spin have all been to no avail. As #ScottishIndependence supporters letโs unite and #VoteSNP. @theSNP may not be perfect, but in a FPTP election any other vote will be taken as a vote for the union.
Always remember that Alba is not an independence party. They are an anti SNP one who would rather see unionists elected than independence supporting MPs. Some Alba /Wings supporters have spent this election posting disgusting hate about the SNP. Never vote for them.
@glassrod57@80_mcswan Pollsters + media have relentlessly tried to build a narrative of a supposed 'surge to Lab'. Surmise their aim is to get undecideds to perceive a bandwagon & 'vote for the winner'. But, folk are no daft....
@Pumpkinz16 How can it be a legitimate presidential function to try to overturn a legitimate election result?? SCOTUS should form their own party, as they are evidently politicians, not jurists.
@dorfman_p An idea: Joe offers "Hey Don, we both stand down โ and I'll pardon you after the election as still sitting President.". Who would then be the Dem and Rep candidates?
@deelomas If you're in a Tory held constituency in Scotland, to GTTO vote SNP as by far closest challenger. Any vote for Lab or LD simply helps the Tory to survive.
@JohnSwinney I understood the Parliament to have been suspended, not abolished, in 1707 โ then resumed sesssion in 1999. In which case, it could repeal the Act of Union and thereby end it? [SNP member]
@Elemjay1 My will says 'promession': use viable bits for transplant + research; the rest, freeze-dry in liquid N, extract toxic stuff e.g. mercury fillings & pulverise; leaves a shoebox full, to use as tree fertiliser.
@larsen_hb To protect precious plants, dried coffee grounds or sawdust will stop slugs; but only temp, as rain/watering renders ineffective. We'd love hedgehogs, but access for them would let the ravaging rabbits in....
@GreyPict It's a con, IMO. Lab expect each voter to assume that the unspecified 'change' would be in what they care about: NHS, education, roads, arts funding, whatever. But without specific pledges = gamble, esp cf with SNP solid record of actual delivery.
@cookiris14 @paul_sandars They still haven't realised that postal votes delays are because the SNP have stolen all the stamps (and hidden them in the roof of the camper van).
@miketor63 Edison saw it in 1931: "I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power!" Or as I like to call it, the International Fusion Reactor: functioning reliably for many years, safely located, available to all.
