The Bible isn’t simply a text book for life or a rule book for living.
It’s a book revealing God’s heart, a place for fellowship with him where you can hear his voice & experience his love.
Beware bitterness. It may not be as noisy as anger but it’s just as hideous. It’s rooted in resentment & is an ugly weed that needs to be rooted out.
You’re in Christ now, so put it to death with the strength he supplies. Celebrate his awesome grace & abound in thanksgiving.
At last! The scientific breakthrough of the decade!

Interesting, the word “friend” (philos) isn’t used among Christians in the NT. “Brothers, sisters, children, beloved” are all used.
“Friend” isn’t strong enough to communicate the bond. In using “beloved” we’re reminded that our bond is rooted in God’s prior love for each of us.

@GaryHolpin I like 3 -BL. 1 and 4 are good but similar to others. 2 is lovely but there's something about the composition that doesn't quite work for me... Think it's having the 2 trees in view. 3 has a wonderfully green lush feel which makes you want to be there!
Books I and II of Psalms open with a picture of God as streams of water:
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season.” (1:3)
“As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.” (42:1)
Oh, give me also streams of water!

The Alpha course (https://t.co/R60aCnT7vz) is a great introduction to Christianity. Hopefully there's one near you or alternatively they are often run online. Knowing the Father, through Christ the son, in the power of the holy Spirit is not to be missed!
