Only happens when they get new tech, now you're seeing brands like ATK with $60-80 mice with same specs. Prices will come down as the tech becomes the norm.

They're likely all out of the same factory in China anyway just molded in different plastic. Durability likely doesn't differ much when the core parts are the same.

All of the brands are using the same sensors and chips for a lot of these mice lately, so theres nothing differentiating most from one another.

Only reason for me to get the Steelseries is I've used their shape mice for 10 years or so

Its never been for pro players, initially the pro scene required people to mod the game to make it viable e.g promod on cod4

Since console era, the competitive ruleset has been subpar at best

fnatic, dignitas and many other big esports orgs used to support cod4 promod, they don't touch this game now.
