@SirFrankW75@DPJHodges The best way to counter fake news is to be here to correct and guide. Running and hiding from a specific platform does not help at all. Still, a politician reducing their reach is original, I'll give her that.
I find it exceptionally creepy that Andy Burnham seems to constantly surround himself with gobby young blondes.....all day today more keep joining the 'gang' at various stages......
@PolitlcsUK Burnham won't last until the next election either. We keep putting people in charge who the public didn't vote for and are generally unlikeable. They need someone like Lisa Nandy if stabilization is the aim.......
@JuliaHB1 It's a terrible idea. Kids will bypass it (very easy) but now if they get in serious difficulties online, they'll feel they can't tell a parent or ask for help elsewhere for fear of getting in trouble. Vulnerable kids could be more vulnerable...
@athomaswrites@NoTime2Heel@JuliaHB1@Keir_Starmer It's extremely easy to bypass without even installing/modifying anything. Otherwise you'll have cottage industries popping up in schools across the country with savvy kids charging a small fee to set it up for the less savvy.
@CallMeMysticall@AllisonPearson@HantsPolice Sadly,I don't think the incumbents will change a damn thing unless we make them. I hate saying that as I've never protested in my life, but I now feel I must.
@Restore_Essex@DPJHodges Seems to depend where you live. I'm in East Anglia, and not only is he not supported, people here actively hate him. No one likes him. No one. But my friend from Manchester suburbs loves him and tells me most people up there do. So seems to be heavy north south divide. Unity?? Ha
@Horris1991@reformparty_uk@LeeAndersonMP_ So you want him in Number 10? Cool, I guess downing street is behind bars, so yeah, nice to see you want Farage for PM. Welcome to the majority....
@Tuttlebees@dave43law@JuliaHB1 It never ceases to amaze how people are so hateful of their life they still make crap up about Farage and think if they do it in a self righteous way they must be correct. He wasn't in charge of Brexit.....the Tories were, and they failed to deliver the potential. If only....
@iainoverton@JuliaHB1 Wow. And the prize for daftest response ....small things like COVID, Ukraine.....that was down to Brexit was it? Brexit didn't fail, the Tories failed to deliver and have the courage to believe in Britain. The EU was a disaster... rejoining it? Yeah, that'll help...nothing.
@darrengrimes It's going to tell us a lot today when we see how London is policed. Unfortunately MSM won't give us much but there's plenty of information about. I hope there's no trouble but I'm concerned how many times the Pro Palestine march has taken the unapproved route. Over 30 I believe?
@finazmd7@PolitlcsUK Unions are a good thing, but not when they're too militant and risk bringing businesses down with unreasonable demands that ultimately cannot be affordable and lead to job losses and the desire to offload via privatisation. To keep this public after the next GE, they must be soft
@thecarolemalone I always love these posts because it makes the loony left look nasty, vile and completely ignorant by the very nature of their replies. They fall for it every time, and then wonder why more and more are turning away from the left....
@kemblehr@Iromg Hey, give Gerald a break. We should support Gerald. People like Gerald are the ones Starmer listens too. People like Gerald are why Starmer refuses to go. People like Gerald mean Starmer stays, and Labour loses to Reform at the next election. We like Gerald...
@DPJHodges Starmer has already told @BethRigby he won't go anywhere. He will be here for the next general election. He believes he was elected for 5 years and he needs to complete that term. He will never go unless labour MPs drag him kicking and screaming...
@ShrastitheAI @AP It's worth noting that JSOC said they are only blockading Iranian ports, but as Iran have closed the rest of it, this just takes it to a total closure....
@AP Come on, this has one aim.....to put pressure on China because they are one of the few countries that may have influence with Iran. China have fingers in lots of pies (markets) and are overexposed at the moment. I suspect this could be a risky gambit though..
