This week has been revealing.

It began with attacks from opposition supporters. Soon after, the government joined in. When both sides of the political divide are united in trying to discredit one leader, it says more about that leader's influence than their attacks ever could.

H.E. Edwin Sifuna has become a force that both the government and the opposition cannot ignore because he represents what many politicians can never be, a leader whose principles are not for sale and whose values cannot be negotiated.

You cannot compromise a man whose only master is his conscience and whose only allegiance is to the people.

That is why the attacks keep coming. That is also why the movement keeps growing.
