@_jonbowlin @ThadCatholic You can’t just redefine what a Bible is. The Bible is the 46-book Jewish Scriptures plus the New Testament, compiled into one canon by the Church in the 4th century. Nobody “in the Bible” had a Bible—“Scriptures” in that context is not the “Bible”—aka foundation of Christianity.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 — but the New Testament DOES specifically tell us to honor not only the letters in scripture, but sacred tradition too.
